28/12 Cwm Lloer 1F Walking Fractured arm. Initial grid reference put them (correctly) at Cwn Lloer. They were eventually captured walking down the road from Ffynnon Llugwy. A very valiant effort carried out under a lot of pain.
10/12 Cnicht Area 4 Walking 14:30
Party became separated in mist. Leading party had map and GPS. Trailing party became dissorientated in mist. Team members played detective and located where they were by analysing terrain etc. They finally found there way down to thier car.
26/11 Eastern Traverse Tryfan 1M/1F Scrambling 13:30
The two had ascended the North Ridge but became stuck on the steep exit wall South of North Gully just below the summit, in snowy conditions. Three team members ascended the North ridge and captured the pair. With gathering darkness they ascended to the summit and descended down Western Gully in slippery conditions.

Shouts for help heard suspected to come from Bristly Ridge. Turned out to be a 100' tumble near Alphabet Slabs.
Evacuated by 22 Sqdn. Died in Hospital later on from head injuries.
20/11 Grooved Arete Tryfan 2F Climbing 19:00
Two girls were retreating from Grooved Arete when their rope became stuck and they were overtaken by darkness without torches. Team members went up Green Gully to reach them and then lowered them down to the Heather Terrace and walked them off. A cold but clear moonlight night.
18/11 Bristly Ridge 1M Scrambling 14:28
Fall from Bristly Ridge sustaining head and knee injuries. (Initial information suggest the incident was on Tryfan) but it was in the steep gully to the west of Bristly Ridge. 22 Sqdn. put the winchman on the ground and then lifted four4 team members to escort the rest of the party off the hill.
12/11 Idwal Slabs 1F/1M Climbing

Following their failure to complete an easy, short route on the Gribin Facet, they decided to try a longer, harder route on the Idwal Slabs. They started Hope at 14:35hrs and got to the top in near-darkness. By the time they had completed the upper walk-off and a short abseil, they were in full darkness with just one small head torch. The next two hours were spend failing to find the path and they then constructed a short abseil which put them onto a small ledge with nowhere else to go. Finally, they phoned 999 for help.

Party of five on North-West slope of Moel Siabod called police via mobile phone for 12 year old male with suspected fractured ankle.
Three team members committed to hill but casualty was recovered by 22 Sqdn.

05/11 Idwal Slabs 2M Climbing 21:00
Cragfast on Idwal Slabs having attempted to abseil down, team carried out a lower and got them back to safe ground uninjured but very cold.
29/10 Foel Grach Shelter area 5 Walking

Party of 5 called police as one of party had a suspected fractured wrist. Party advised the team they "required a helicopter and how close could it land to them". Given the weather conditions, an aircraft was not justified, so the party carried on walking and were picked up by the team at Drum

2M Climbing 23:00
Two men stuck near the top of Grooved Arete on the East Face of Tryfan. The two, part of a party of 10 over from Dublin for the w/e had started up the classic route at 11.00hrs. They lost confidence in their rock climbing shoes on the greasy rock. They were able to telephone their colleagues in Cwm Idwal who came up Tryfan with the intention of dropping a rope. Sadly, they could not locate the top of the route. A party of five Team members made their way up the North Ridge, along the Eastern Traverse and to the top stance of Grooved Arete. A team member was lowered down to the two. Each was then hauled up the crag. Everybody then walked down the N Ridge for breakfast at Oggi Base at 07.00hrs. The two men were physically and mentally exhausted from their ordeal.
22/10 Pen yr Ole Wen 2 Walking 18:30
First call of the evening from an experienced party of two descending Pen yr Olewen in rapidly failing light. Well equipped but lacked confidence when the reached a steep part of the descent. A Team member was sent to ensure that they descended under their own steam.
20/10 Tryfan 2M Walking 19:50
They had left at about 15.00 to climb Tryfan. Getting lost in the low cloud, they don't know if they reached the summit but decided to return down the North Ridge. Darkness fell and they were without a torch. Having a mobile telephone they were able to raise the alarm. In telephone conversation they reported that they could see the A5 and Llyn Ogwen. A Small party was dispatched with lights to escort the two off the hill. They were located just below the Milestone Buttress, 150m from the safety of the A5. They had not been able to identify the path on the screes and boulder field beneath the East side of the Buttress.
7-8/10 Glyder Fach 1F Walking

One female with re-occurring pelvic injury. Six team members met with the casualty late on the Friday evening and bivvied out until the morning. Other Team members left base at first light on the Saturday morning to meet with the others.
RAF Valley Troops were called in to assist with the carry off.
The Cas was walked off part way and then stretcher carried down to the Pen Y Gwryd hotel and then taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by NHS Ambulance.
In all the job ran for approximately 13/14 hours.

10/09 Above Milestone Buttress 3 Scrambling

The party of three had attempted to ascend the North Ridge of Tryfan, but been deterred by the final North Tower. They retraced their steps down the North Ridge but experienced difficulties in finding their way. They attempted to follow the ridge by using their GPS receiver to no avail.
The party found themselves on steep ground by the Milestone buttress and made little attempt to extricate themselves. They requested assistance by contacting North Wales Police on a mobile telephone.

29/08 Cwm Idwal 1M Walking Slipped whilst crossing river. Sustained lower arm injury. Treated at Brew Shack and dispatched to hospital for check up.

20/08 Llyn Y Cwm 1M Police 7s Race Control requested assistance and we were contacted by Western. A Team call out was instigated and 8 Members responded. The casualty was evacuated by 122 and taken to Bangor Hospital. No Team Members went on the hill.

31/07 Idwal Stream 1M/1F Walking Traversing Glyders in heavy mist. Ended up in/near Idwal Stream. Mist cleared briefly and allowed them to ascend. Picked up by wandering Park Warden
30/07 Gwydyr Forest 1M Mountain Biking Mountain biker went over handle bars sustaining fracture dislocation of little finger and collar bone. Helimed could not lift so transferred to ambulance
30/07 Tryfan. lower North Ridge 1M Scrambling Slipped 30' whilst scrambling sustaining suspected fracture to radius/ulna.
22/07 Afon Porth-Llwyd, Dolgarrog 1M Scrambling Slipped whilst scrambling in gorge. Trapped ankle. Was extricated by team
16/07 Y Gully, Tryfan 2M Scrambling Started North Ridge but wandered onto West Face. Became cragfast and called 999. The team were celebrating there 40th at Oggi Base
10/07 Dolgarrog Gorge 1M Walking

The team were called to help rescue a young boy who plunged 30ft down a waterfall in the Dolgarrog Gorge. The 11-year-old fell at an inaccessible spot and he is thought to have broken arms and possible rib injuries. Firefighters used ropes to reach the boy while a doctor from the Team attached a medical line to administer drugs.

09/07 Belle Vue Bastion Tryfan E.Face 1M Climbing A climber was reported to have fallen 200 feet off Belle Vue Bastion with severe head injuries. 22 Sqdn. dropped the winchman who found the climber sitting on a ledge, happy but with head lacerations. He was winched aboard and taken to hospital for overnight observation
05/07 NE Foel Goch 1F Walking Team called for a 16yr old girl on DoE practice run with fractured ankle. She and 5 school friends were en route from Nant Gwynant to Dolwyddelan. She was crossing a small stream when she slipped on a wet rock, thus damaging her ankle. The Supervisor who was shadowing the group came to her aid. At first she tried to walk/hobble. Then the supervisor tried to carry her. By about 1300hrs they called for assistance. Two team Land Rovers with 10 troops were escorted by a friendly farmer on a Quad bike as far as they could go. It was then a short stretcher carry off to the LR's. The whole group was brought off to the A470 at Roman Bridge. She was transferred to National Health Ambulance.
03/07 Tryfan 2M/2F Walking Call for a young woman, part of a group from London, who was frightened on the Eastern Traverse between Green and North gullies, E Face Tryfan. Eventually, the girl was levered off the rock (like levering off a limpet) and assisted down Western gully.
03/07 Summit of Drum 1M Walking Team called for assistance with 52yr old "15 peaker" with damaged knees on the summit of Drum. His three colleagues had put him in a poly bag on the track about 150m from the summit
and awaited the team in a cool breeze and drizzle. Loaded into team vehicle. Initially they looked forward to the lift down......until they saw the track in the headlights. Advised to go to hospital to
check knees.

1M Scrambling 26y.o. Male who took a 30ft tumbling fall at the base of North Tower. Sustained abrasions to his hands and a fractured left ankle. Team stabilised fracture and he was then winched with his companion by 22sqn
26/06 Afon Anafon Track 1M 1000m race Team called at 05:30 for walker on Afon Anafon track having difficulty walking. As team arrived casualty walked into car park.
19/06 Milestone Carpark 1M Walking Took a tumble whilst descending. Finger turned out to be fairly badly broken and
team assisted in getting casualty and his vehicle to Bangor hospital
11/06 Tryfan W. Face 1M/1F Scrambling Descending North Ridge. Wandered onto West Face and became cragfast. Father descended for help. Mother and son escorted off
04/06 Carnedd Dafydd 5M Walking Walking 3000s and became lost. Found by team and Walked down to Oggi Base.
3-4/06 Ogwen Falls 1M   17 y.o. walked off caravan site at midnight 01/06. Search of area revealed nothing

07/01 Trefriw 3M/1F Driving Team supported Police/Fire Service/Ambulance in responding to
two council workers trapped in their vehicle by flood waters on the B5106, a WPC and a Manweb engineer stranded on top of his van.
