12/12 Glyder Fach 1 Walking Possible broken leg. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn.
12/12 Llyn-y-Cwn 1M Walking Injured knee and was unable to weight bear. Due to the time and the availability of the aircraft the casualty was airlifted to airlifted to Pen y Pass and was eventually treated at A&E in Chester.
11/12 Glyder Fach 2M Walking Whilst the aircraft was returning from the previous incident it was tasked to recover two walkers who were on steep ground East of Dinas y Gromlech
11/12 Moel Morfydd 1M Parascending Two Ogwen troops finishing a training event at RAF Valley assisted in the rescue of a parascender who fell 50 feet sustaining severe head injuries. He was flown to Wrexham hospital
09/12 Grooved Arete Tryfan 2M/1F Climbing Three climbers became cragfast on Grooved Arete. Returned to Oggi Base by 22 Sqdn. No injuries
27/11 Glyders 1M/1F Walking A couple walking from Capel Curig to Ogwen along the Glyders became lost in the area of Castle of the Winds. They had lost their compass and had entered mist. Teams we dispatched from Ogwen and Llanberis finally locating them. The weather prevented 22 Sqdn. picking them up so they walked down to Pen-y-Pas
21/11 Liverpool Bay   Sailing During a training exercise with 22 Sqdn. at RAF Valley, four of our members became involved in a search for a yacht in Liverpool Bay.
14/11 Glyder Fawr 2 Walking All-night search on Glyder Fawr. Two casualties found safe near Llyn Cwm Ffynon around 5am
7/11 Moel Wnion 1M Walking A young lad had severe spasms in his back and could not walk. It was the result of a previous injury. He was evacuated by the Team to the Air Ambulance and then to hospital.
6/11 Glyder Fawr Area 4 Walking Police reported 4 persons in the area of Glyder Fawr who had got lost in the mist and had got
onto difficult ground with crags. Ogwen troops plus 3 SARDA Members made contact with
the 4 and escorted them down to Pont Gromlech. It was a long wet job. The group were uninjured but were cold and wet.
28/10 Devils Kitchen 2 Walking

A string of text messages helped save a benighted couple. Two walkers in their 20s, had become cragfast on the Idwal slabs, above the Ogwen Valley, in Snowdonia. Once located using SMS to Rescue Control in Kinloss relayed to the aircraft, they where winched aboard.

28/10 Carnedd y Filiast 2? Walking Walker reported as shouting for help. Search of mountain revealed no one. It seems that some other walkers found the party and helped them off.

1 Walking A 14 year old boy fell on the South slopes of Tryfan suffering head injuries. He was airlifted by 22 Sqdn. to Ysbyty Gwynedd
03/09 Bangor Area 1 Missing from home The Team were asked to assist in the search for an elderly man, from Bangor, who had gone missing from home. The man was found just as thing were getting going.

1 Climbing This party watched the previous rescue then fell and fractured his ankle. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn. in a fine display of flying.

1 Climbing Fell from the Knights move receiving jaw and arm injuries. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn.
26/07 Bochlwyd 1F Walking A 74 year old woman collapsed and was evacuated by 22 Sqdn. Her daughter was assisted down by a team member.
25/07 Tryfan n/a n/a Instructor definitely heard 6 whistles whilst on Tryfan summit. Team members searched Tryfan but found nothing.

In deteriorating weather, the group left the dam at Llugwy and started up towards point 3185 where they became unable to proceed up or down. The group were found to be very poorly equipped, (some wearing bin-liners) and totally unable to manage themselves in the mountains. On failing to make contact with their instructors, they phoned the Police for assistance. Fortunately no injuries
04/07 Afon Llafar 1M Walking Fell into gorge. Broken leg and arm. Evacuated by Air Ambulance
02/07 North Ridge Tryfan Lights reported Standby
27/06 Bwlch Tryfan 1M Walking Swollen knee. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn.
11/06 Vivian Quarry 1M Climbing Attempting Dawes of Perception and belay failed. Head and wrist injuries. Ended up in lake. OVMRO called in to collect evidence.
30/05 Aber Falls 1M Walking Team called to support Ambulance at Aber Falls. A 34 year old male from Llanberis slipped on damp grass on the footpath to the West of the valley, incurring a Potts fracture. Team assisted 22 Sqdn. with First Aid. 22 Sqdn. then lifted him to hospital. He was a solo walker but passing persons had placed him on an old gate (traditional style) and carried him someway towards the woods behind the car park.

1M Walking A 36 year old male from Surrey put his foot down a hole incurring an 8" gash to his thigh. 22 Sqdn. flew in, dropped the winchie and parked up at Oggi Base.Cas winched off and flown to hospital
15/05 Heather Terrace 1M Climbing Slipped on first pitch of 1st Pin. Rib landing on heather terrace. Fractured ankle. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn.
13/05 Y Garn 1M Walking Slipped on greasy rock at a point where the footpath is very close to a steep edge. Fell about 250’ down small crags. Fatal
12/05 Cwm Idwal 1F Walking Girl stuck on steep ground below Goats Path in thick cloud. Telephoned for help. By the time the team was at base, the cloud had lifted, so had her spirits and she walked off unaided. No injuries
24/04 Tryfan. North Ridge 1F Walking Collapsed after panic attack
22/04 Melynllyn 1F Walking D. of E. party. 17 year old girl fainted whilst setting up camp. Again, the group was walked back to the LR's and given luxury accommodation in Bryn Poeth !!!. A glorious starlit evening
21/04 Llyn Cowlyd 1M Walking On D.of E. walk along Llyn Cowlyd to Capel Curig. Went down with hypothermia. Condition: strong cool breeze and just beginning to rain. Vehicles driven up to the lake and a quarter of the way along N shore. DoE party located half way along and were walked to the vehicle's.
19/04 Milestone Buttress 1M Walking Slipped over 20' drop landing on feet. Leg and minor head injuries. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn. due to concern over possible spinal injuries due to nature of fall.
11/04 Devils Kitchen 1F Walking Fell about 5M suffered head and chest injuries, Evacuated by 22 Sqdn. A number of troops attended the casualty and assisted the winchman.
10/04 Crimpiau 1F Walking Complained of acute chest pain, team members dispatched, C Flt 22 Sqn lifted casualty to A& E
09/04 Glyder Fawr 4M/2F Walking A group of two adults and two children attempted to descend from the summit but became disorientated in thick hill fog. They call for assistance and were joined shortly after by two other walkers who were also lost. Escorted from the hill by two team members.
03/04 Cwm Idwal 1F Walking Collapsed. Possibly unconscious. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn.
13/03 Llyn y Cwn 1M  Walking Twisted ankle and could not stand. This incident started 3 hours after the last one. Casualty evacuated to Gwastadnant. Last party off hill 07:00 on 14/03
13/03 Below Cryb Goch  2M Scrambling OVMRO members assisted Llanberis Team. One member fell 50-100m whilst descending from Bwlch Coch. One sustained a leg injury. A SARDA dog handler in the area heard shouts for help and reported incident to team. Complicated by poor visibility and difficult ground conditions. Initial call came at 15:15. Last party off hill 06:15 on 14/3

24/01 North Ridge Tryfan 1M/1F Walking Descending from summit and felt they could not reach the road before it went dark. Nothing hurt apart from pride.
03/01 Cwm Bochlwyd 1F Walking Tripped and damaged ankle. Managed to make her way down with help from her party but called for help when pain became too much. A valiant effort. Stretchered to waiting ambulance.
03/01 Idwal Stream. Devils kitchen 1M Walking Last man in party of three fell sustaining a back injury, knee and ankle lacerations and minor head injury. Fall was not noticed by companions who carried on descending into Llanberis. Idwal was awash with MR personal just out walking. Evacuated by 22 Sqdn. Companions captured at Idwal Tea Shack.
02/01 West slopes Glyder Fawr 1M Walking Slipped on ice and fell 30m. Fractured pelvis. Severe lacerations to hands, buttocks and legs.
