Protracted search for abducted school girl. Eventually found in river south of Bridgenorth
Fatal. Murder
24/09 Tin Can Gully Back End 1 Walking Casualty collapsed on descent after a walk around Llyn Idwal. Recovered sufficiently to walk down. Sent down to hospital for a check.
Found to be epileptic and diabetic
10/09 Pen Yr Ole Wen Lower S Slope 1 Walking Casualty slipped on boulder. Carried down.
Fracture of lateral maleolus
30/08 Bethesda Penrhyn Quarry 2 Local Incident

Two men had been drinking. Lost control of car during descent and went off track. They fell about 150 ft onto old gallery.
1: Cut to arm
2: Head and chest injuries.

10/08 Tryfan West Face 1 Scrambling Navigational error put party into more difficult ground. Casualty slipped and banged her head. Evacuated by C Flight 22 Sqn.
Scalp laceration
27/06 Carneddau Foel Fras 1 Walking Party attempting 14 Peaks. Left Ogwen at 1445 hrs. Casualty started to have a problem with his leg. Party descended to Bethesda.
Pulled ligament
25/06 Tryfan S W Side 4 Scrambling Party were doing a scrambling descent on the SW Flank. Rock came away in casualtys hands and she fell a considerable distance. Picked up by C Flight 22 Sqn.
Fatal. Multiple injuries.
25/06 Cwm Bochlwyd 1 Walking Party was hurrying down to report previous incident. Carrying 2 heavy packs. Casualty tripped. He was picked up by C Flight 22 Sqn and taken to Oggie Base.
Mild sprained ankle

End Of Walk Off
1 Walking Casualty slipped whilst descending. Landed with foot on sharp rock. Hobbled down to base of Slabs then carried down to Idwal.
Fracture of Oscalsis
17/06 Tryfan N Ridge Above Milestone 1 Scrambling Party was descending after a bivy. Casualty jumped off a boulder and landed badly. Picked up by C Flight 22 Sqn
Sprained ankle
29/05 Tryfan West Flank 1 Walking Casualty miss-stepped on scree. Party carried him a short way on a rope stretcher. Picked up by a passing helicopter and delivered to Oggi Base. The casualty could have walked down.
Minor sprained knee
23/05 Idwal Slabs Tennis Shoe Top Pitch 2 Climbing A leader fall of about 50 ft. His 13 year old son did a very good job holding him on a Stich Plate. Lowered off crag by army party then picked up by C Flight 22 Sqn

16/05 Llandudno Jct Marle Woods 1 Search
Non-mountain
Search for a possible suicide. Dogs failed because of wild garlic. Found the following day by Police.

07/05 Tryfan N Ridge Above Milestone 2 Scrambling Casualty fell about 40 ft whilst scrambling. Cause of fall not known. Lifted out by C Flight 22 Sqn

30/04 Tryfan S Ridge S Col 1 Scrambling Casualty slipped on a greasy boulder. Carried down east side then picked up by C Flight 22 Sqn.

03/04 Nant Ffrancon Nr. Tyn Y Maes 1 Walking Casualty slipped on wet grass. Communications difficult because all party were deaf. Carried down to road.
Sprained ankle
14/02 Cwm Idwal Path To Devils Kitchen 1 Walking Casualty slipped whilst crossing stream and was washed down a short distance. Carried down to southern end of lake then lifted out by C Flight 22 Sqn
Minor head injury, dislocation of fingers
13/02 Glyder Fach Main Cliff Chasm Route 2 Scrambling One slipped off and knocked off the casualty Both tumbled about 150 ft. Casualty lifted out by C Flight 22 Sqn.
Fractured Maxilla and laceration to lower lip and bruising of thigh
10/02 Caseg Ffraith Miners Track 2 Walking
Winter
Casualty slipped. Pack swung in opposite direction to his twist and forced out shoulder joint. Evacuated by C Flight 22 Sqn.

Climbing

Casualty slipped off some 15 ft below the top. He fell the whole length of the Gully. Lifted out by C Flight 22 Sqn

07/02 Carnedd Dafydd Cwm Glas Bach 2 Walking

The pair strayed onto steep slope. Both were blown off their feet. One was snatched by C Flight 22 Sqn. The other found and recovered the next day. Both fell in excess of 1000ft.

07/02 Cwm Tryfan Start Of Bristley Ridge 1 Walking
Winter
Casualty slipped and tumbled some 150 ft. She may have been blown off her feet. She was lowered down the slope then picked up by C Flight 22 Sqn
Fractured nose and scalp lacerations
07/02 Cwm Cywion Under N Ridge Y Garn 1 Walking
Winter
The casualty may have been blown off the ridge after he became separated from his companions. It took a search to find him. Recovered the following morning in very adverse conditions.

02/02 Glyder Fach E. Above Miners Track 2 Walking
Winter
The 2 casualties slipped off the ridge and slid down into Cwm Tryfan above Miners Track. Had no ice axes. The walked down.
Scalp laceration and strained ligaments
30/01 Y Garn Banana Gully 1 Snow/Ice
Climbing
Party decided to descend the gully. Casualty fell and was unable to self arrest. Fell about 150 m. Snow thin in places. Hit several rocks. Evacuated by C Flight 22 Sqn
Head lacerations and Bruising to thigh
02/01 Devils Kitchen Path 1 Walking Party was descending Devils Kitchen path. Casualty's patella slipped out under stress. It was back in place when the team arrived. Carried down to Idwal
Subluxed patella
01/01 Bochlwyd Path 1 Walking Casualty slipped on wet rock and banged his head. Fainted at the sight of blood. He walked off with assistance and was taken down to hospital by a team member. 2" laceration to front of head
